The SASLAW Pro Bono NPC project at the South African Labour Courts serves to deliver a quality advisory service and defined Labour Law legal services to those who otherwise do not have access to justice.
The SASLAW pro bono project is to deliver a quality advisory service and limited Labour law legal services to those who otherwise do not have access to justice.
See www.saslawprobono.co.za for more details on the project.
Pro Bono services are the delivery of legal advice and/or assistance within the professional competence of a legal practitioner to facilitate access to justice. Pro bono services are designed to address the needs of persons with limited needs, or of non-profit organizations where the payment of legal fees will deplete the organization's economic resources and affect their ability to carry out charitable or public interest work.
Please note that the Pro bono office in all Labour Courts have been closed on a temporary basis until further notice to avoid the spread of the Corona Virus. A notice has gone up at the offices, and the courts has been made aware of this development. Judge van Niekerk has thanked SASLAW for this responsible action, which will hopefully result in less people being in the Court building.
If you have a matter that you need advice on, please email the office closest to you. An attorney will respond to you. Please include in your email:
