Essential Services – The Latest Developments

This talk will provide an explanation on the latest developments in the domain of essential services, including the designations of services as essential services or maintenance services and the resolution of disputes of interest by way of arbitration in essential services. Advocate Boda SC has extensive experience in Labour Court practice and procedure. He obtained his BCom LLB cum laude from Wits University and later went on to do his LLM. He was admitted as an Advocate in 1996 and took silk in 2015. He has specialised in labour law and occasionally acted as a judge in the Labour Court.
